Let a new tradition begin!!!!! Last night, Kathryn and I went to see The Nutcracker presented by The Nashville Ballet. I have always said that if I ever had a little girl, this would be an annual event. This is the first year that I felt Kathryn was old enough to go. And, just as I suspected, she LOVED it! It was actually my first time seeing this ballet too. And, it was really good. We started the night by having dinner at J. Alexanders. We had a delicious meal (including their fabulous Mac and Cheese) followed up with carrot cake for dessert (Kathryn's pick). After dinner, we headed on to TPAC for the show. It was freezing cold...seriously, it was flurrying...so we opted for valet parking. Kathryn really enjoyed the ballet, and she was so good. Her favorite part was "the dancing ballerinas." I will have to say, they were very talented. However, my favorite part was the mice (they were the cutest little kids). We had a great mommy/daughter night, and I can't wait to go next year!
