This past weekend: Keith Sweat Concert, APSU vs Murray Game, and more...

How Kaden eats pizza rolls...squeeze the inside of the rolls on the plate, mix with ranch dressing, and then use the "pocket" shell to dip in the mixture to eat.

What I wanted Kyle to wear to the basketball game, LOL!!!
This past weekend Kristin, Sean, and Garrett came to Clarksville to spend the weekend with us.  We had so much fun!  Friday night Kyle, Kristin, Sean, and I went to The Stillery for dinner, then hit up a couple of places on Broadway in Nash before heading to the Keith Sweat concert at Bridgestone Arena.  The concert was really good with several great opening artists.  The concert ended at 1 AM, so afterwards we went straight home.  Saturday we headed to Murray for the APSU versus Murray game.  The Govs did not win, but we still had fun with the whole family.  On the way home, we got majorly stuck in traffic...the interstate was closed for two hours, and we were stuck with no way to get out so we didn't get home until 1 AM.  Sunday, Kathryn played the harp at church.  Despite being exhausted, she played Amazing Grace in both services and did awesome.  We are so proud of her and all she does!  We had a BUSY weekend, but we loved every minute of it!

He has been doing this a lot lately...he loves the heat!
We hosted Disciple Now (DNOW) for the first time, and man, it was such a blessing!  I wasn't sure what to expect, and I certainly didn't know I would feel so happy about it.  We had an amazing group of girls and two leaders that spent the weekend in our home.  They were mainly there late at night and in the morning, but I loved having them.  And, I loved that maybe we played a small part in someone growing closer to Christ during the DNOW weekend.

Brandon (who just happened to be in Vegas for work so we met up for dinner) and Me

Valentine's weekend was so much fun!  A group of us went to Vegas for a long weekend.  While there, our friend Ben surprised his wife Jennifer with a Vow Renewal.  She was so shocked, and it was special to be a part of it all.  We spent the weekend eating way too much, playing lots of cards, and just hanging out with friends.  We love Vegas...it is always the best quick getaway.  And my most fav part...the Spa and Caesars...it is amazing!  I am thankful for these moments to get away with Kyle and our friends!

Kaden made this for me for Valentine's Day...he is really the sweetest boy in this world!
I am not sure where the month of February went....but here we are in March...so let me back track!  The first half of February was pretty calm...which was much needed.  We had a little snow that gave us a much needed Snow Day (a day of no school).  We spent that day at home, working puzzles, eating lots of food, and just relaxing.  I am always thankful for slow time...those days at home without a million things to do...it doesn't happen often!
