Kids and Chores

Kathryn blowing the leaves before going with friends to swim...and she also knocked down cobwebs before this
LAZY...sun bathing
Kaden spraying drive way weeds

Nightly strolls...which I am determined to do more of!

And while we do spoil our kids, they do have responsibilities around the house too.  Just like everyone else in the world, we are always trying to find the right balance of work and play.

A day of Relaxation: July 18th

Pedicures for the three of us!

Kaden's fav part of a haircut...the big brush at the end dipped in powder and used on his neck!
Cooking breakfast for dinner...Kaden made all the pancakes...with Winston's help!

Kaden loves to get pedicures, his hair cut, and to cook...he is pretty well rounded :)  And, since we were busy the day before, we took this day to soak in some relaxation (pedicures) and spend time at home (which means I caught up on things around the house while the kids played).

July 17th: TN Safari Zoo

Kathryn was sitting behind me, so this was the best photo I got of her feeding since I was driving

Kaden's face...I was dying laughing!

After the zoo, we hit up this delicious place for lunch...it was great!
And then I had to get the car cleaned....animal feed from the zoo was ALL OVER the car, but it was totally worth it!

Back home, Winston checking out his deer friends
I woke up, and decided to load up the kids and head to Jackson for another adventure...the TN Safari Zoo.  It was WILD!  It was a drive through zoo, and the animals came right up to the car and stuck their heads inside looking for food.  Within the first 3 mins, a camel took Kaden's whole bucket and nipped his finger a bit in the process.  Kaden was traumatized for about 5 mins but then got over it.  It really was a fun zoo.  The animals were definitely excited to see people and wanted all the food!
