Father/Son day trip to see the Grizzlies and Mavericks play

The best daddy award goes to....KYLE!  On Monday, Kyle surprised Kaden with an early school dismissal, lunch at Chick Fil A, and then a road trip to see the Mavericks and Grizzlies play basketball.  He also was able to be on the floor during the warm ups.  Kaden had the best time, and I know this is an experience he will never forget!!!

Ready for the Usher Concert

The kids and I flew home from NYC on a Wednesday morning, we unpacked, did laundry, and repacked.  They went to my mom's, and Kyle and I went back to the airport to fly out to Vegas.  I was tired...but I was excited to spend some time with my best friend!  Kyle and I had a blast finishing out spring break together.  We ate too much, drank too much, and had so much fun!  We saw Usher in concert...SO GOOD!  We are already planning our next trip back!

Until next time NYC...

Got to sit in the Pilot's seat on our flight once we landed in Nashville...he loved it!

There might only be 30 people on your flight when they give you the entire can for your drink

NYC...such an amazing experience with Kathryn and Kaden.  Truly, it was a once in a lifetime trip!  We did ALL THE THINGS!  Everyday was filled from morning through night.  And while we maybe didn't get to everything...we certainly got the big things check off our must see list!  Kathryn absolutely loved the city and the city life.  Kaden like it, but he was definitely ready to be home.  My fav part of the city is how you can walk to everything.  I LOVE walking and getting steps in, so I loved this aspect of the trip.  I also loved all the city dogs.  There were way more than what I remembered from before.  But my fav...just getting to experience all of this with the kids.  I love that they are always up for an adventure, and I was super impressed they were able to hang with me on all the walking each day.  They were troopers for sure!  And NYC, we want to come back...maybe when it is warmer.  We want to see more shows, hit up some of the city parks, and maybe an art museum for Kathryn!
