Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter! We went to church Sunday morning, and then went to the Luthers for lunch. We spent the rest of the day at home relaxing. Kathryn was very excited about her Easter basket. She got lots of "colors" and books. She also loved the bubbles from Uncle Michael. Above are a few pictures from the day.

A Play Date

Last Saturday, we had a play date with the Hawkins. The girls are so easy at this stage. For the most part, they played together while we ate dinner and played cards. We had a great time!

An Update

All is well in the Luther family! Kathryn is growing up way too fast. Sometimes I just want time to stand still. She is busy building her vocabulary. She can pretty much repeat any word we say (hence, we have to be careful with what we say around her). She is no doubt, the best part of my day.

Last Tuesday, she had to get her first set of ear tubes. The process was not as fast and as easy as I had hoped. We got to the clinic at 7 AM, but she didn't go back to surgery until 8:30. Trying to keep her occupied between two sheet walls and in a confined place was not so fun. And, she kept saying "snack" because she was hungry, but of course, she could not eat. The surgery part was actually quick. We thought all the drama was over, so we were relieved to be on our way home until Kathryn started vomiting in her car seat. Once we got home, got her cleaned up, and got the car seat cleaned up, everything was really just fine. Kathryn spent the day with her grandma and got lots of TLC. Whew! Glad that process is over and hopefully she will not need any more tubes!

Above are some pictures taken last night at home. Kathryn had her Easter party yesterday at school. She came home with a basket full of eggs and enjoyed playing with them last night. And, a couple of pictures are her sitting in my lap and reading. My sweet girl LOVES books. We hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed Easter!
