We love APSU!!!

Wednesday night we went to the APSU basketball game.   The kids love going to events like this.   Kaden especially loves the Gov and the band.   He asked to take his picture with the Gov.   I'm hoping this is a good sign for pictures with Santa this year!

Starting off November

This month has started off with a bang!  Two weekends ago we went to Tunica.  This is always a FUN and relaxing trip.  As much as I love Kathryn and Kaden, Kyle and I need a little time away.  It always seems like this trip is the perfect getaway for us.  We are so thankful for Ms. Kayla for keeping the kids for our weekend trips.  Knowing they are in such great care makes our getaways even better.  Rossview Middle basketball has started up, so the kids and I have been busy going to games.  And, this past weekend, Kyle and I along with some friends went to the Vandy versus APSU basketball game.  APSU lost, but we still had fun.  Saturday the kids and I went to the Henley's for a playdate and then Kathryn went to a bday party for her friend Savannah.  We ended the weekend with church on Sunday and spent the rest of the day home.  This coming up weekend will be full of Christmas decorating and relaxing before the craziness of the Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities begin.  I do love this time of year!!!

Last Thursday Kaden had a virus therefore I took the day off to be with him.  I needed to run a couple of errands...this was our Target stop.

We have been busy, as usual!  I went on my yearly girls trip to Christmas Village (this market always puts me in the Christmas spirit!).  And on Veteran's Day, Kyle and I took the kids to the Nashville Zoo.  We had the most perfect weather.  And, we all had a blast...seeing animals, feeding the birds, riding the carousel, having lunch, and playing in the play area.  It was a wonderful day!!!

Kaden gives us a run for our money.  I remember with Kathryn between the ages 2 and a half and 3 and a half was the most trying time.  He is a sweet and loving boy.  He completes our family, and I couldn't imagine life without him!

Our Halloween tradition of going to the Bowles continued this year.  Everyone had a blast.  Each year, the group grows and becomes even wilder, but the kids love it.  We are thankful for Haven and Jeremy hosting everyone.  Here are a few pics from the day and night...

This girl...she got a balloon yesterday at her dentist appt...she asked to write a message to Bailey and release the balloon in the sky so Bailey could have it in Heaven.  Yes, I cried as it was released.  She is so incredibly sweet!!!
