Sunday Morning Fun

Sunday morning...really almost every morning...Kaden is out shooting hoops.  He loves basketball!  And this Sunday, Jeff and his family came to church.  With my crazy eye and Jeff's eye, we decided we needed a pic!  And the rest of Sunday was spent relaxing...Winston loved every minute of it!

One day post surgery (Saturday) and already looking better!

I had to miss Kathryn's meet this morning because of my eye.  I am thankful Kyle was there to take pics.
About 10 years ago, I had a section of lower eye lashes that started growing inward instead of outward.  My eye doc felt confident it was a sty so really no big deal.  Over time, I noticed a white bump forming on the inside of my lower lid.  I finally made an eye appointment to have it seen about.  My eye doc referred me to an eye lid specialist.  After an biopsy, it came back as a basal cell.  So Friday, I went for a Moh's procedure and then the same day went for the eye lid reconstruction.  I am glad this surgery has been done...I had been dreading it.  I am now hoping for a quick recovery and full healing.  And the biggest take away...put sunscreen all over your body every single day!
