Easter 2016

Today was a great day!  This morning, the kids woke up and were so excited about their Easter baskets.  Kaden came running to me jumping up and down screaming that the Easter bunny left him candy.  Kathryn was so excited too.  She was impressed that the bunny knew she wanted a specific purse....smart, sneaky bunny!  Our day began at church.  The music this morning was so moving.  I have to admit, our music is my favorite part of each Sunday's service.  It just always really speaks to me and touches my heart.  After church, we went to brunch at the Country Club.  It was delish!  Mimi, Papa, and Momma Pam joined us.  After that, we headed home.  While Kaden and Kyle napped, Kathryn and I binge watched Fuller House (we watched 8 episodes to finish the season).  I love that she and I both enjoy this show.  Next we headed to Mimi and Papa's and spent the afternoon playing and visiting with family.  Tonight was spent at home doing what we love to do...being together!  I love my family so much, and I love this life!

Good Friday Indeed!

Today was Good Friday AND the first day of Spring Break...the kids and I took full advantage of the day off.  We started out with breakfast at Pfunky Griddle in Nashville.  The kids were able to cook their own food at our table.  It was a fun concept, and they absolutely loved it!  Kathryn made French Toast, and Kaden made eggs and pancakes with LOTS of sprinkles.  Afterwards, we headed to the Adventure Science Center.  We spent the day playing and had a blast.  Then we headed to 12th Ave South for cupcakes at Sprinkles...YUMMY!  Next, we went home and after dinner we dyed eggs.  It was a full day of family fun!

But this ambulance was his fav!

And, Kathryn's fav was the woodworking section...so fun!

Kathryn made sure every person in our family was represented in our egg basket...she is so sweet!
