Randomness...

A few random stories...

1. While Kaden was staying at Mimi and Papa's overnight...he was so proud that he watered Mimi's plant.  When he showed Mimi which plant...it was an artificial one.  LOL!!!

2. While wearing a particular vest, he told Mimi that he liked the vest because it made his muscles look bigger.  I mean...you can't make it up!

3. Not sure why, but this has been on my mind...I never remember my mom or dad playing with me when I was a child.  They both worked and when at home they did other things.  I find myself quite often playing with the kids.  Now that Kathryn is older, playing looks a little different...like she will want me to work a puzzle with her or craft with her.  Kaden is young enough that we play all sorts of things like Star Wars (he likes to Jedi train), we play with his food items, with his legos, play outside, etc.  As a family, we play lots of games.  I don't know why...but this has been on my mind.  I am thankful they want me to play.  And while sometimes I feel too tired or have a million other things to do...I do try to take the time to play.  I know this time won't last long and therefore I do want to engage in this moment and take full advantage!

Weekend Wrap Up: November 24 and Govs Football Makes History!

I am FINALLY caught up with my blogging...I get so far behind at times...but I guess what I am doing is better than nothing!  This weekend was a perfect mix...Friday night we had zero plans and I was in bed and asleep by 9!  PERFECTION!!!  Saturday, we hit the ground running.  We went to a private screening of Frozen 2...this was my first private screening event...it was so nice!  Elsa and Anna were even there for pics!  After the movie, we headed to APSU for the last regular game of the season.  The Govs made history...for the first time since 1977, they won the OVC Championship which resulted for the first time ever...a spot in the FCS playoffs!!!!!  So proud to be a Gov!  This morning after church, we went back to Austin Peay for the Selection Show.  APSU will play Furman at HOME!!!!  This is so exciting for APSU and Clarksville!  Now, I am sitting at Planet 3 trampoline park while Kathryn attends a bday party for her friend Izzy.  I brought Kaden because he loves to jump here...and Izzy has a little brother that Kaden is friends with.  Everyday I am thankful for so much...in this moment, I am glad to be caught up on blogging!
