This past month's happenings...

I haven't blogged, but I do want to share some of our fun events from this past month (well, since my last real post)...
We have attended bday parties, gone to visit family in Camden, been the the Nashville Flea Market, watched lots of college football, gone to Tunica (my all time fav weekend get away...I CANNOT wait to go back!!!), celebrated Grandparents Day (my kiddos have been blessed with the best!), gone to Nashville for an APSU Alumni event, been to Hoptown to watch Maxx's soccer game, and went to the Kayne West concert (which was last night).  In the midst of it all, we work full time, have homework, harp, and maintain a home.  We also spend time working with Winston...he is like a full time job!  But actually, this past month has been the calm before our SUPER busyness...the month of October is going to be a whirlwind, and I am excited for all that we have coming up.  God sure is good to us.  We are blessed!!!

The kids are both doing awesome!  Kathryn is LOVING 3rd grade and her teacher Ms. Tilton is wonderful.  She is maintaining really good grades and is progressing in her harp skills.  There are some changes going on at the Country Club, so we are on a slight golf break for now. Kaden is LOVING the Kids class at The Red Barn.  He is getting so big.  This is his last year at the barn.  I have mixed emotions for sure!  He plays soccer at school every Wednesday and enjoys it!  He is really becoming independent.  He keeps me on my toes, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Here is batch #2 of phone pics...
Kaden: At bedtime, he generally spends time "reading" the Bible...we absolutely encourage this...even though I know he is stalling at bedtime.  And, this sweet boy in addition to his nightly prayers, he says The Pledge of Allegiance followed up by The Star Spangle Banner...One night I asked if he said his prayers, he replied, "Yes, but I didn't say my Pledge of Allegiance"...then he did both the Pledge and Star Spangle Banner...he is a mess and I love it!
First APSU Home Game
Watching the Govs warm up
Kaden and Papa...Papa is the best!
3 generations of Luther boys right here!
His fav part...the band...on this night during his prayers, he prayed for the "Banders that were on the football field"...he is so sweet!
Playing at Pammie's...we went to celebrate her bday!
Kaden's rainbow from church...by far the best coloring he has done!

Kaden's first skating experience...he started with the trainer, but after an hour, he was skating on his own!
And big sis was there to help too!
Winston is so patient with Kaden...Kaden lays on him, sits on him, and is generally very rough with him...Winston just takes it.  He really is a great pup!
This moment...Kathryn taking our pic...everyone is in my lap...and we are just being us...silly, loving, fun...family is the best!
Kathryn and Kyle at Golly G's at exit 24...yes, we drove almost 30 mins for ice cream...it's YUMMY!
And this officially happened this week...Kathryn has her very own first harp...she is excited!
Saturday morning fun in Hoptown...watching Maxx play soccer...it was HOT but we had a blast!
Kaden on the way home from Hoptown...watching soccer, park playing, and playing at Pammie's wore him out!
And this dog...6 months old...overall very good, but he still needs to work on his social skills...he loves to jump on people to greet them...gotta break that habit.  However, we all love him!!!
