We Love Puzzles!

We have been on a big puzzle kick for months now...we complete about 2-3 a week...The kids like to photograph the puzzle when we are done...here are two recent ones! 

Weekend Wrap Up

And he got this guy...named him Skully...he said that way when Kathryn is gone (like on Saturday she went to a friend's house for the day), he will always have a friend.  I can't make this stuff up!

Low key weekends rarely happen...but this weekend was one of them.  Friday night we had Kathryn's Cross Country event.  Saturday she spent the day at a friend's house, and Kaden spent the day with me and Kyle.  We ran errands, and we mostly got things done around the house.  Sunday after church, I grocery shopped, did laundry, and then relaxed.  Kathryn has started Youth Group at church on Sundays, so she did that from 4:30 - 6.  We love the weekends, especially when we can take a minute to catch our breath and catch up around the house after a busy week.

Clarksville Montgomery Country has officially sanctioned Cross Country, and Kathryn is a part of this team.  We are so excited for this season.  She ran in this event last Friday night...a mile and a half was the distance...her time was 12:15.  She did AWESOME!  And, she finished ahead of MANY others.  I almost cried as she crossed the finish line because I was just so dang proud.  I hope Kathryn always knows how much I love her!

Ready for her first unofficial Cross Country Event...since the Beech Invitational was canceled...the students met at Rossview and did a timed two mile run...Kathryn finished right at 20 mins.  She crossed the finish line and then cried...I was so proud of her for pushing through and finishing! 

She makes me proud...ALL THE TIME!

Fun with cousins!  Evie and Noah came in to visit from Salt Lake, we were excited to spend time with them playing at Planet 3!

Celebrating Kathryn's 11th Bday: August 8th

Thanking her brother for her fav gift!

For her bday, all Kathryn wanted was Cake in Cup from Puffy Muffin in Nashville...with some help from my friend Becky Smith and her mom, we made it happen.  Kathryn also is getting a bedroom make over...we are waiting for a couple of more things to come in...I will post pics when it's complete.  Kaden gifted her a new Garmin watch with a built in GPS system so she can track her runs...she was beyond excited.  And we gave her a Kavu bag.  She had a wonderful bday for sure!

Both Kids are very Healthy!  And I am one blessed Momma!!!!!
