Weekend Wrap Up

This weekend brought on a sinus infection for me, but despite of not feeling great, we still had a good weekend.  Friday night, we stayed home and did a lot of nothing...playing, watching TV, and being lazy.  Saturday, we took the kids to Rivers and Spires.  The kids had a blast playing on inflatables and riding the train.  Saturday afternoon, Kathryn went to a bday party for her Red Barn friend Sarah Eskew.  The girls had so much fun playing.  Saturday night was spent at home, again, just hanging with family.  Sunday, we went to Camden.  As always, we had fun visiting with family and enjoyed a yummy lunch.  Weekends like this remind me to slow down and enjoy life.  Often we are so busy, so it was nice to have a low key weekend spent with family.

Easter 2014

We had a wonderful Easter weekend.  Saturday morning, we went to the country club for an egg hunt and petting zoo.  The kids had a blast!  Kaden loved finding the eggs and opening them.  Kathryn found a golden egg which landed her a new set of play dough.  The kids also loved the petting zoo.  They fed some animals, and Kathryn rode a pony.  Such a fun morning!
Kaden was a little unsure of the Easter bunny

After the egg hunt and Kaden's nap, we dyed eggs.  Kaden was not really into dying eggs, so he just played while we worked on them.

And that night, we all went to Hananoki to celebrate Papa's birthday.  Kathryn loves the food at Hananoki (especially the shrimp and rice), and Kaden loved all the food too (especially the soup and rice).

How sweet is this?!?!?!  They love their Papa!
On Easter morning, we all went to church and Sunday School.  I love that we attend a church that Kyle and I both enjoy going to (especially our Sunday School class), AND the kids LOVE going to church too.  Before church, we did take some pics in our Easter outfits...

After church, we went to Mimi and Papa's for an egg hunt and yummy lunch.  Momma Pam joined us too.

And, to round out the day, after Kaden's nap, we went to the park to play and ended the night having Sonic for dinner.  What a blessed weekend!!!
