Fall Pics

It's obvious I am a little obsessed with pictures of my children, but I really just can't help it.  These are pics taken back in late October.  We used two of them on our Christmas card.  I was so pleased how well they turned out, especially of Kaden because I never know with him at this age!  I loved a ton of them, but here are a few of my favs...

Kaden's Christmas Program

Last Thursday, Kaden had his Christmas program at The Red Barn.  I was so proud of him!  He sang every song, and he tried to do all his dance moves.  He was adorable and in my eyes, the star of the show (he was one of two kids to actually sing and dance)!  When he first walked out, he scanned the crowd to find me.  Once he saw me, he exclaimed, "Mommy!"  Then he looked at the crowd sitting in front of him and announce, "That's my Mommy!" while pointing at me.  It was the sweetest!!!  He and his friends were dressed up like reindeer.  They sang Jingle Bells and a Christmas Hokey Pokey style song.  They were all too cute!

Weekend Wrap Up: Christmas is in full effect

We had a very Christmassy weekend!  Friday night, Kyle and I took the kids to see the lights at the Clarksville Speedway.  It was a good drive through light show.  Afterwards, we drove to a house that has tons of lights set to music.  That house was awesome!  Unfortunately, Kathryn had fallen asleep before we got to this house, but Kyle, Kaden, and I enjoyed it!  Saturday morning, we were up bright and early for the annual Hale's Kids Christmas Party.  This is a tradition we absolutely love.  These kids have grown up together, and although we don't get together often enough, I cherish these moments.  They all play together so well and truly have a blast.  We all enjoyed breakfast (which is always yummy!), the kids exchanged gifts, and then they made ornaments.  Time in between was spent playing.  Amelia is so brave to host us each year.  Saturday afternoon we went to the APSU/Lipscomb basketball game.  Sunday after church, we went to the Santa brunch at the Country Club, and then to the Nutcracker in Nashville.  And to top off the weekend, Kathryn and I made reindeer food for all her classmates and Kaden's classmates.  It was a busy weekend, but we all had fun!
