Taylor Swift Concert!!!

Kathryn was given tickets to see T Swift for her bday, and this past Saturday was the big night!  She choose Annie Rudolph and Avery Elliot to go with her.  She had the best night with her sweet friends.  We went to eat at the Fontanel with our friends Becky and Aubrey Padgett as well as Fran and Chloe Jenkins.  Dinner was delish!  Afterwards we headed to Nissan Stadium.  It was a MADHOUSE, but SO MUCH FUN!!!!!  The girls spent the night singing at the tops of their lungs and dancing.  And we completed the night with a sleep over after the concert.  I love making these memories...I know this is a night these girls will never forget!

This weekend was a good one!  Friday night we went to the RHS versus CHS football game.  The kids were exhausted, so we left at half time.  Saturday was spent cleaning out!  Cleaning out is seriously one of my favorite things to do!  We did a major purge of stuff!  We are now ready for Christmas :).  Sunday, we went to church, and then spent the afternoon at The City Forum for an event for Joe Pitts who is running for Mayor.  It was a great weekend!

HHS Class of 1998 20 Year Reunion

WOW!!!!  20 years since I graduated from High School....I am not even sure how that much time has passed!  This past Saturday, we had our 20 year reunion.  Honestly, I was kind of dreading the event.  My childhood friends, Cinnamon Butler and Amy Rechter and I planned the event.  So for a few months now, it has just been another thing on my plate.  And, on top of that...I haven't seen most of these classmates since leaving Hoptown in 2001.  Much to my surprise, the event was so much fun!  We planned a perfect night filled with the best music (DJ VT), delicious food and drinks, and festive decorations.  A room filled with orange and black, tons of memorabilia, and a party atmosphere.  I loved seeing all my classmates!!!  Some I haven't seen since graduation day.  It was a blast!!!!!  I forgot how special the Class of 98 is, and now I will definitely look forward to our next reunion!

Friday night Fun!

After a week of back to school and two bday celebrations...last Friday night was the perfect night to stay home, play with Legos, and watch The Polar Express.  Kaden loves Christmas as much as I do.  And all year long, if he picks a movie to watch...it is going to be a Christmas movie!
