Trigger Finger Surgery

Kathryn had surgery on her left pinky finger today.  We had to be at Vandy bright and early, but everything  went very smoothly.  I was most impressed with every aspect of Vanderbilt Children's for this procedure.  The doctor did give her some medicine to help her relax before surgery.  The medicine made her crazy.  Literally, she was seeing things.  She was pointing to things in the air that did not exist.  It was crazy to watch her.  I felt so sorry for her, but it was absolutely hilarious at the same time.  She is now in a cast for a couple of weeks, and once that is off, she should be completely back to normal.

Ready for surgery
After given medicine to help her "relax"...she was acting drunk...it was really crazy
Literally could not hold her head up right, but she insisted on riding in the car
Finally passed out pre-surgery
Post surgery...in recovery
On the way home...exhausted!
Home and feeling better...snuggled with Bailey watching TV
