4th of July Fun!

The 4th of July fun (actually this was July 3rd) began with me going to my co-worker and friend Liz Struble's bachelorette party...well, I didn't do the whole clubbing thing since I am 33 weeks pregnant, but I did go to dinner at Margaritaville.  As always, the food was delish and the company was lots of fun.

Wednesday was the 4th, and we had a great family day.  We went to Mimi and Papa's for a yummy lunch and then back home to hang out before going to the Country Club for the evening festivities.  It had not rained in Clarksville for several weeks, so naturally around 5:00 a monsoon came.  However, we didn't let that stop our fun.  Luckily, the rain stopped, so we headed to the club.  We ate a bbq dinner and then headed over for face painting.  Kathryn was most excited about this.  It was the first time she had her face painted.  She chose a butterfly and asked for it to be orange and pink.  Then we headed out to the inflatables.  There we played for a bit and then headed on home.  Kathryn is still not wanting to see fireworks, and that was okay by us because we had to get up Thursday morning at 3:30 to catch our flight to Virginia.  We had a low key and fun 4th of July!
