This whole Christmas season has been a little different for me...with Winston being sick, I wasn't able to go and do per the usual. And honestly, I loved being home. We are always so busy running here and there and doing this and that. Sometimes it's hard to just sit and enjoy. This Christmas, I did sit and enjoy. It was wonderful. And, it makes me want to reevaluate our busyness for the future holiday seasons. None the less, Christmas Eve I spent some time home preparing our dishes for Christmas Day and getting things done around the house. That afternoon, I joined Kyle and the kids at the Luthers. We spent time with Michael, Jay, Charlotte, Joe, Mimi, and Papa. Afterwards, we went to the evening service. It was a beautiful service! It's definitely my favorite service of the year and one of my fav Christmas traditions. Then we went home, had dinner, made cookies for Santa, put out our reindeer food, and finished up the evening by reading The Night Before Christmas. Truly, a perfect evening at home, filled with all our traditions and not being rushed.
