This sweet boy had a great check up last week....x-ray showed NO fluid!!!  We are beyond excited!!!

Kaden: My Chef in Training

Kaden LOVES to "play" cook in his play kitchen set downstairs.  It's always been one of his favorite things to do.  And, lately, I have been cooking a ton, so I have recruited Kaden to help me!  We have a great time together in the kitchen.  He is learning tons of things, and he absolutely loves it!  On Monday, he worked on his chopping.  He helped make Mango Salsa and cut up all the mango for the recipe.  Note: He always has to wear his coat and hat when helping me in the kitchen! 

Weekend Wrap Up and Back to Reality!

And, SO EXCITED!!!  The doc did not hear any fluid!!!!  Looks like this surgery is successful!  We will x-ray on Thursday to make sure!

Yesterday...Highs near 60 meant playing outside...Winston spent a lot of time laying in the sun!

It's been an amazing week off...full of snow, playing, snuggling, binge watching TV, being lazy, and just enjoying being with the family....I LOVE SNOW and SNOW DAYS!!!!!  It truly makes you just slow down a little and simply be!  This past weekend it warmed up, and the snow melted.  We played outside some and soaked up the warmer air.  Winston loved being back outside which tells me he is definitely feeling better.  Now it is Monday morning, so we are back in the grind.  I am ready to tackle this week.  Kyle and I are whole30ing.  Since school has been out, I haven't been working out.  So I am excited to get back into our school gym after school today!  Here's to a great week of working hard, eating well, and working out hard!  Happy Monday!!!

Home...I love the snowy deer!

Yesterday we were invited to join the Greene's and Padgett's for some sledding fun.  Our kids play together really well, so this was the perfect play date!  It was actually a little warmer...high around 35.  The kids got in some major sledding and fun! 

More SNOW Days!!!

The snow has been amazing!!!  The kids were out of school all week which meant LOTS of play time!!!  We took the kids back to the country club for more sledding on an even bigger hill.  It was a chilly 15 degrees, so we didn't stay long, but we did get in some great sledding!
