Clarksville Parade

Ready to ride on the float

 This past Saturday we had a first...Kathryn and I rode in the Clarksville Parade.  The parade began at 5 and went through the downtown area.  Kathryn enjoyed riding and telling everyone Merry Christmas.  The weather was actually pretty perfect for a December parade.  It was a little cool but not freezing.  During the middle of our float ride, Kathryn asked, "When are we going to fly up?"  I explained to her that we weren't flying anywhere that we were on a trailer attached to a truck.  I guess she thought we would float into the air since we were on a float.  I love the mind of a 3 year old...innocent and pure.
