Mother's Day: May 14, 2023

Mother's Day...not a typically Mother's Day...but thankful all the same!  Kyle had been sick with Covid, and Kathryn wasn't feeling well either.  So just it was just me and Kaden for church.  After church, Kathryn and I sat in the walk in clinic for almost 3 hours (luckily they did not Covid test her but gave her some meds).  Afterwards, Kaden and I got lunch at Gingham Cafe (my pick!).  Then I went grocery shopping, worked on laundry, cleaned house...all the typical Sunday to do things.  We ended the day snuggling on the couch.  And, Kyle and the kids went and got me an ice cream cake...my traditional dessert for this day.  Mother's Day isn't really about celebrating me....it is me celebrating that I get to be Kathryn and Kaden's mom.  Being their mom has been more rewarding than I could have ever imagined.  I love them so much!!!
