First weekend of December: Relaxation and a Party

Kathryn was contact traced at school (meaning she is in quarantine for 10 days)...so the party she planned to host Friday night had to be rescheduled.  But it was all good!  Kathryn and I spent Friday night at home...we watch Harry Potter...I actually fell asleep by 7:30, lol!  Kyle and Kaden went to Johnny's Big Burger for dinner and then went to the APSU basketball game.  They had a fun boys night.  Saturday was a great day!  We were lazy, watched movies, cooked some goodies, played outside, and Kyle and I had a small date night at Blackhorse.  Sunday after church, we watched more Christmas movies, and just hung out.  The kids played outside some more, and that evening I had my annual Favorite Things party at Haven's house.  I was definitely glad to see everyone.  This has been such a weird year, and this party is my only party for the season (this is a rarity...I usually have multiple parties).  This party made the evening seem normal.  So thankful for these girlfriends.  And super thankful for Kyle and the kids.  We have definitely enjoyed the extra time at home and being together!

Favorite Things Party with some of my Favorite Girls...thankful for this tradition!

Sunday watching A Christmas Carol...Kathryn wasn't happy about the movie choice, lol

Enjoying the sunshine too

All the Christmas feels!

Bubbles on a Saturday...the weather was actually pretty warm for December!

Kitchen helpers...we made Salted Carmel Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars...DELISH!!!

Finally got the star on the tree!  We had to order a new wire for it this year.

Saturday morning perfection...One of my fav Christmas movies!
