Fall Breaking at DISNEY WORLD: Day 1: Epcot

As much as I try to plan and prepare, God is constantly reminding me that I am NOT in control!  Perfect example...our flight to Orlando being canceled with less than 48 hours notice.  Due to a hurricane coming, our flight was canceled, and there was no way for us to get to Disney except to drive...there were no other flights, no renting a car one direction (we wanted to do this and then fly home), and really no other options but to drive the 11 hours.  So that's what we did.  We left home around 6 PM, and I drove until around 3:30 in the morning.  Then Kyle drove the last leg of the trip...about an hour and a half.  Day 1 was spent at Epcot, and we were exhausted but so excited to be there!  So we conquered Epcot riding all the rides (Kaden LOVED The Frozen ride...when he saw Olaf he shouted, "I love you Olaf!"....the sweetest, Kathryn rode Space Mission and she loved it, we all rode Soaring, it was fun...probably Kyle's fav ride), meeting characters (Kaden was so excited and maybe a little shy about meeting Mickey for the first time, but he warmed up quickly...since this was Kathryn's 2nd trip here, she was a pro!), and having a late lunch at Le Cellier (the cheese soup was the best!).  After our lunch, we all headed back to the room to relax and watch football.  This resulted in me falling asleep and not really waking up until the next morning.  Luckily, the kids were tired too, so we all benefited from a restful night!

8:00 AM and we are HERE!  First Day spent at Epcot!

Mimi and Papa
Meeting Mickey: Kaden's 1st time....he was a mix of excited and nervous
Turtle talk with Crush...the kids even got to talk on the mic with Crush and ask questions
Test Track ride: we all loved it, except for Papa...I don't think he loved it so much

Epcot
Meeting Pluto...Kaden was so excited to find Pluto!

Meeting Elsa...Kaden wanted to know where Olaf was

With Anna
Waiting to ride The Frozen Ride...it was a LONG wait, but when Kaden said Olaf, it was totally worth it!
On our way back to our resort...waiting for our bus...Kaden was TIRED and his shirt was rubbing his under arm, so we took it off
