I have to remind myself...Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...
Seriously, if I didn't need sleep, I could stay caught up in life, but I do need sleep, therefore I keep a "to do" list...maybe one day I will be caught up.
None the less, we have been slammed lately. My mom has been so helpful with keeping the kids. She kept them the first weekend of this month, and she kept them last weekend. I always feel bad asking her to help out because she works so hard and generally works all weekends. But, she has offered to keep the kids without me even asking! She is such a blessing!!!
On September 13th, we all went to the APSU football game. The new stadium was revealed, and it looks amazing. I am super impressed for APSU! The kids loved the Club Level. They were able to run around and eat as much as they wanted. We will definitely go to more home games!!!

Kaden and Kathryn with their buddy Robert Bowles |
This past weekend Kyle and I went to Tallahassee for the FSU vs Clemson game. We had a blast. It was just the two of us, and it was great having an entire weekend together. ESPN's College Game Day was there, and the campus was rocking. We did our usual...shopped, went to The Palace (spent about 7 hours there), and then went to the game. We are all about tradition! The Noles pulled out a win...it was an insanely tense game. And, Kyle and I had a blast!
Other happenings this month: Kathryn has started back up with Gymnastics...she seems to really be enjoying it, Candlelight Ball planning is in full swing...we had our first meeting with me as Chair, celebrated Momma Pam's bday, we celebrated Grandparent's Day...Mimi and Papa joined Kaden at school for cookies and punch, Kathryn and I began our monthly service of keeping the 18 month old preschool class at church...we have a great group of little ones, and tonight I had Kathryn's Parent Conference...as I suspected, she is doing great and is right where she should be academically.
This weekend, Kyle and I are heading to Athens to spend the weekend with my sister and to go to the UGA vs TN game. The kids are going to Mimi and Papa's, and they are super excited. They haven't stayed overnight there in a really long time. Mimi has been out of commission with her shoulder (hopefully she is on the mend and will feel better soon). And, since school has started up, we haven't been over there near as much as usual, so I know this weekend will be extra special for the kids. And while I do miss the kids like crazy when we are gone, it is nice to have some adult time. We are so blessed to have family close to us and always willing to help us out!
