Easter Weekend

This past 3 day weekend was lots of fun.  Friday I was out of school for Good Friday, so Kathryn and I went to Nashville with Phyllis to do a little shopping and to have lunch at the Puffy Muffin.  Friday evening was spent at home.  We watched a little TV and went to bed early.  Saturday morning we were up early, so we dyed eggs.

Afterwards, we went to church for the annual Easter celebration for the preschool.  Kathryn had a blast.  She participated in arts/crafts, games, a petting zoo, watched a puppet show and ended the day with an egg hunt.  We had a great time.

Proud of her finds
Saturday afternoon, we headed to Nashville to hang out with our good friends Kailey and JR.  Kathryn loves going over there and playing (she especially loves when JR chases her and plays hide and seek).  The weather was so nice, so we spent some time hanging out by the pool, and Kathryn actually played in the water for a bit.  AND, the Easter bunny left Kathryn a basket full of goodies.  She was so excited.  We had a blast hanging out and catching up!

Sunday morning was a busy one.  Kathryn was excited to wake up and to hear that the Easter bunny had been to our house and left her a basket.  She spent time looking at all her things and eating a little bit of candy.  Then, we quickly got ready for church, took some pics, and headed out the door.  After church, we went to Mimi and Papa's house for lunch.  We also had an egg hunt for Kathryn.  She LOVES finding eggs.  The rest of Easter Sunday was spent at home, playing outside, and relaxing.  We had a wonderful Eater weekend!
