The Luther family supports Austin Peay 100%, and we especially love APSU Basketball. Our love for our alma mater has without a doubt trickled down to our sweet girl Kathryn. Kathryn enjoys going to any sporting events, but she especially loves APSU Basketball. Last night was our first night to attend a home game this season. A couple of weeks ago, Kyle won a gift card to the AP Bookstore, and instead of buying something for himself, he bought me a shirt and Kathryn the outfit below (Daddy picked it out all on his own, and he did a great job!). We obviously had to wear our new game day gear. There are several things Kathryn loves about the game...
1. The National Anthem (she stands quietly and puts her hand on her heart).
2. The players' intros (she is a little timid when the lights go out, but she still enjoys it)
3. Popcorn (she and Papa usually share)
4. Seeing the cheerleaders
5. Waving her pom poms and yelling "Let's Go Peay!"
6. Seeing the Governor...from a distance of course
