Saturday was Kathryn's party day (her actual bday was the next day, that Sunday, but since that is the day before the first day of school...we decided to celebrate a day early). She wanted to do a water park, so Venture River was the answer! Kaden got to bring his friend Aaron. Everyone had a great time! The park is big enough yet small enough. We spent the entire day having fun in the sun. They rode all the slides, did the lazy river, the wave pool, and everything else the park had to offer. The weather was perfect. They girls had a blast on the car ride down and back, and the boys slept on their commute. Once back home, we had pizza and ice cream cake and Kathryn opened gifts. Once everyone left, we ended the night watching a family show. It was a great day to celebrate my best girl!
