Our last day of school pics look a little different this year...since we finished up the year homeschooling due to COVID 19, I still wanted to document what would have been Kaden's last day of 1st grade and Kathryn's last day of 6th grade. Our half day was Thursday, May 21...so here's our pic...this pretty much sums up the end of the school year at my home school...little to no clothes and iPads in hands. The kids actually did really great working on their home school assignments with me. They worked each day to complete the tasks given. We worked on other skills too...cooking, cleaning, organizing, sign language, exercising, etc. It's really been a great experience for all of us. I am not the best home school teacher, that I can admit, but we did have fun and we made it the best way we knew how. Sometimes trying your best is all you can do, and that's okay! I am thankful for this time home with them. I realize we won't ever have time like this again. I have cherished it for sure!!!
