Taking advantage of Cross Country time by walking W
It's been a busy week...Cross Country is in full effect for Kathryn with practice 3 nights a week from 6 - 7:30.  Kathryn is taking this time to determine if she wants to participate with the team in August.  She seems to enjoy it right now, and I have enjoyed walking and running Winston on these nights too.  Kaden is staying busy with baseball, and he is loving that.  His team has won two games.  They are continually learning each game and seem to improve a little each week.  At school, we hosted a celebration of life for my friend Kenna.  It was nice to spend time with her family in a smaller more intimate setting.  To celebrate Dave's 80th bday, we all went to Metropolis for an evening.  Kyle and Jay walked away as winners...the rest of us lost or broke even.  On the way home, we had a great dinner at Harper House.  It's hard to believe Dave is 80...he still works hard every single day, and he works hard at home to take care of his family.  I often feel that he is underappreciated.  As someone that did not have a dad at home very much, I truly appreciate and value what he does for his family...including me.

Last week and weekend was crazy busy...every night after work we either had cross country or baseball and did not get home until 8 or later.  Friday after work, we went to Metropolis.  Saturday morning I worked the CMCSS kickball tourney, played in the tourney, and then was at Kaden's baseball game by 11:00.  He had a double header.  Saturday afternoon we took W to the Bark Park.  Sunday after church, we took the kids to see the Avengers End Game movie.  I love these busy times because I feel like I am maximizing each moment of my day...and this is the only life we have to life so I want to live it to the fullest..however, it does make wear on me.  I will be ready for summer break...3 more weeks!!!!!
