So many emotions this week...Kathryn enters 5th grade (her final year in elementary school), Kaden enters Kindergarten (his first year in public school), Kaden turns 6, and Kathryn turns 10 (DOUBLE digits)...all of this within 3 days. I go back to work after an amazing summer home with the kids. And, I begin my 16th year in education. Too much!!!!! My heart is so happy and yet just a little sad. Trying to embrace the present and not think about how quickly my babies are growing.
Kaden is so excited to start Kindergarten. Ms. Hayhurst is his teacher...we are so excited for this! She has been asking to have Kaden in her class for the last 4 years...when she had Kathryn. I think they are going to be a perfect fit for each other.
Kathryn is excited too! She has Ms. Nee, Ms. Watson, and Ms. Phelps. I know she will have a great year. She is the best student, and I know 5th grade will be another wonderful year!
