Lollapalooza 2016

I attend my first Lollapalooza, and it was quite an experience.  I was so thankful that we had a cabana (this meant we had our own bathroom WITH running water, our own food, our own lounge, our own bartender, and our own area to sit or stand and listen to the music.  The only people in our cabana were the people in our group...at most, there were 20 of us.  It was PERFECT!  The weather was incredible...not humidity like in Tennessee.  We flew in on Friday at lunch, we went to our fav Chicago eatery (Lou Malnatis).  As always, it was delish.  That night we went to a roof top restaurant and had some appetizers and drinks and enjoyed the view of the city.  Next we walked over to Lolla.  This festival was 100% sensory overload, but it was so much fun.  After the festival, we ventured on to Studio Paris and shut it down.  We ended the night/early morning with a meal at a Waffle House type of place (I can't remember the name), but it was clutch and hit the spot!  Saturday morning, we all went out on a boat an cruised for a few hours...we mainly stayed on the river in town, but we did venture out on the lake for a little bit.  It was so relaxing and time well spent with the girls.  Saturday afternoon, I went to my first Blow Out Bar and had my hair done....nothing fancy, just down with some big curls, but I loved it.  Saturday night we went back to the festival and again, had a great night.  After the festival we went to The Underground and due to being so tired, we didn't stay long.  Once back to our room, we finished the night with room service.  Sunday, we slept in, had brunch, and flew on back home.  I LOVE Chicago!  I totally understand why my friends live there in the summer.  So much to do, so much to see, excellent food, shopping, weather, and I could go on and on.  THANK YOU Kailey and JR for a fun weekend!
Boat Riding!  Incredible views!
Love this guy right here...Somehow the stars aligned perfectly when we met!
