Kathryn's 2nd Nine Weeks Awards

For the 2nd nine weeks in Kindergarten, Kathryn received a ribbon for perfect attendance and a certificate for knowing all her sounds.  We are proud of our girl!

Weekend Wrap Up

Friday night, Kyle, Kathryn, and I along with Abby and Audra Grace Binkley went to see The Fresh Beat Band concert at The Grand Ole Opry.  Before the concert, we went to dinner at Cock of the Walk.  The girls had a blast at the concert.  The concert was good and very appropriate for their age.  Kathryn was still not feeling 100%, so she was a little low key during the concert, and I also think she was somewhat in "awe" of seeing this band.  This was our second time see Fresh Beat, and we loved it the second time around just as much as the first time.

 Saturday, Kyle and I took the kids to run several errands and that night went to the APSU basketball game.  Kaden lasted all the way until half time.  After that, he was ready to leave and go to bed.

Sunday was spent at church and at home.  We played outside for a bit (it was actually a little warmer) and had dinner at Mimi and Papa's.  We had a great weekend!

Weekend Wrap Up

This past weekend of rest was exactly what we needed.  I have been feeling a little under the weather, so it was nice to have a low key weekend.  Friday night, we all stayed home.  Saturday, Kathryn had a bday party to attend for her friend Lily Rives.  It was fun hanging out with the Red Barn parents and the kids all had a blast playing together at Kids N Play.  Sunday, we went to church, brunch, and then spent the rest of the day at home.  Monday was an extra "stay home day" due to MLK day, so Kyle, Kathryn, and I ran lots of errands that morning, and we ended our day by picking up Kaden and playing at the park.  It was a great, long weekend!!!
