Weekend Wrap Up: Kathryn graduates...from Pre-School

This past weekend was full of emotions...happy, fun, bittersweet, a smidge sad, etc.  Friday after school, I met up with Haven and went to The Barn Loft Sale.  I picked up a wooden monogram for my front door and a soy candle.  Saturday, Kathryn had her graduation ceremony.  The program was so sweet and cute!  Here's the program from the event...

Kathryn said she wanted to be a teacher....I think it's pretty sweet she said that!  And, we were surprised to see that she was a flag holder.  She took this job very seriously and did wonderful!  After graduation, we went to Chick Fil A (her pick) and then shopping at Lowe's for some flowers for our pots.  Here are the kids shopping with me...
The rest of the afternoon was spent at home playing in the dirt and relaxing.  Sunday was another busy day.  We started with family pics at 9 AM at the marina, then headed to Nashville to see The Lion King at TPAC with Mimi and Momma Pam, and finished the night having dinner at the Luthers to celebrate Uncle Michael's 45th birthday.

We really had a great weekend.  I was a little emotional right before Kathryn's graduation ceremony began (I cried a little), but after the ceremony started, I was good to go.  I am so blessed God is allowing me to raise her, and I am trying to embrace each stage of her life and celebrate it and not be sad that my baby is growing up.
