Finally into a good routine
I am definitely a routine kind of girl. Since Kaden's birth, it seems that things have been a little hectic and unorganized. Life is finally settling down, and things are seeming more routine. Kaden is on a great schedule for a 5 week old. He is now eating 6 ounces every 3-4 hours during the day. He takes his first bottle around 7:00 AM, then one around 10:30 AM, 2:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 9:30 PM. After his 9:30 PM bottle, he goes to sleep in his crib. He then wakes around 2:30 AM for a bottle (after this bottle, he goes right back to sleep), and then he is back up around 7:00 AM. So essentially, I am only having to get up once in the middle of the night, which is really nice! His wake and nap times during the day are sporadic. He is generally up for a couple of hours each morning, then takes a good nap. And, in the evenings he is up from around 4:30 until 9:30. During this time, he is often fussy, which we call "Fussy Thirty." Kathryn went through the exact same thing during this time as a baby. It is actually quite normal for babies to have a fussy time of day, and it is usually in the evenings per what I have read. Things are forming into our new "normal," and everyone is adjusting well!

We called Margaux's the reign of terror. It was usually around 5:00-8:00. I remember folks coming by the bring food and I thought I was a terrible mother.
