Weekend Wrap Up

This past weekend was quite a busy one!  Friday night we stayed home and watched FSU play in the CWS.  Saturday, I was under the impression I was going to a day at the spa in Nashville.  When I got to Kailey's house, my family and a few of my closest friends were there for a surprise baby sprinkle.  I was more than surprised by the shower (actually, I can't believe I didn't figure out what was going on prior to walking in the house), and I was truly overwhelmed by everyone's kindness...I actually was so shocked that all I could do was cry.  AND, my sister drove all the way from Athens (4 and a half hours one way) to attend and then turned around and drove back home.  She is hands down the best sister and my best friend.  I felt so loved!  I was spoiled with lots of delicious food and cake, and Baby Luther racked up on lots of goodies.  We are so blessed.  After the sprinkle, we all went and got pedicures together.  It was the perfect sprinkle!!!!!  Thank you to everyone who was there and helped put on a wonderful shower.  Saturday night, we decided to let Daddy pick a dinner spot for Father's Day Eve.  He chose Hananoki, so that's where we went.  As always, the dinner was great.  And, Kathryn is really starting to like the dining experience there.  She is still not crazy about the fire, but she enjoys everything else.  Sunday was Father's Day.  We went to church, lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings (again, Daddy's pick), and then went to the Luthers to celebrate with Papa for a bit.  Afterwards, we came home and gave Daddy his gift and cards.  We gave him 2 tickets to the Florida Sate versus Clemson Football game in September.  He was pretty surprised.  Then, we let Daddy take a big nap while we played upstairs.  After his nap, we went to Cheeseburger Charley for dinner (Daddy's pick again) and ended the night by getting ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery (Daddy's final pick).  It was a great Father's Day and weekend!
