A Typical 3 Year Old

Well, yesterday after school...it happened...Kathryn pulled the most typical 3 year old stunt yet.  After school, we have a routine when we get home.  Kathryn gets a snack and watches a Nick Jr. Show (usually Max and Ruby, her current favorite) while I take Bailey out and get things squared away.  As I am straightening up, Kathryn informs me, "Mommy, I have an M&M in my nose, and I can't get it out."  I (dumbfounded and shocked) ask, "Why is there an M&M in your nose?"  Kathryn replies, "I put it there."  Well, that makes sense.  In the midst of it all, she keeps telling me how sorry she is.  I try to get the M&M out with my finger nail, but I was unsuccessful.  Then, I had Kathryn blow her nose really hard, and luckily the BLUE M&M came out.  For just a second, I was slightly panicked, but in the end, all was well.  I explained to Kathryn that we couldn't put things in our nose.  I hope this is the last time she tries this particular stunt.
The aftermath...Blue kept seeping from her nose...even an hour later
