Twas the Weekend Before Thanksgiving

We had a great weekend!  Friday night we purchased a new TV for upstairs and moved the old one downstairs for Kaden to game on.  Kathryn went to dinner, the RHS bball game, and then to Sonic for ice cream with her friends.  Saturday, Kathryn and I spent the day in Nash shopping.   I truly cherish these times with her as I know time is fleeting!  Kaden and Kyle went to basketball for Kaden's lesson. Sunday after church, we all hung out and relaxed!  This weekend was def the calm before the holiday storm of busyness.  So we took full advantage of relaxing as much as possible!

During this stage of life, every night, Kaden would wait for Kathryn to fall asleep, and then he would sneak out of his room and climb into her bed and go to sleep.  In the mornings, I would find them like this.  All he wanted was to sleep with her.  And it was the sweetest!!!

FINALLY all caught up!

For over a year....Blogger would not connect to Google Photos and therefore I couldn't blog.  It finally got back to working, but I was over a year behind.  I have spent the last couple of months catching up.  My narratives have been short, but I wanted to get my pics down and in order.  Fingers crossed for no more issues thus creating better posts.  For now, I celebrate this moment!!!!

Leaving for works in the morning...

It really hasn't gotten any easier...pretty much every single day I wish I could wake up, fix the family breakfast, take Kaden to school, and then come home to do all the things around the house so when we are all home together in the evening, we can simply just be together.  Kaden still likes to wave good bye in the mornings.  I know me working is what our family needs...but it is hard to balance it all.  I am so thankful for what we have, what we have accomplished, and for my life!!!!  But leaving this sweet face each morning as I pull away to go to work...it is hard!

Kathryn's 1st College Visit: UT Chatt

 Kathryn experienced her first College Visit...and it was SO MUCH FUN!  We stayed overnight in Chattanooga and spent all Saturday on campus.  Kathryn had the opportunity to meet with several professors and current students.  She got a ton of UT Chatt swag (Kaden did too...LOL).  We were given a guided tour of the campus.  And we finished with lunch in the cafe.  It was a great day and an awesome visit.  Kathryn liked the campus and all of the people she met.  UT Chatt isn't her #1, but it is definitely in her top five...so we shall see what happens!
