Snow Day #3

As the weather forecast predicted...Ice and Snow did arrive late last night, and snow still continues to fall as I type.  I have to say...It is BEAUTIFUL outside.  Our fingers are crossed that we do not lose power.  This morning we went out to play for a bit, but it is so cold and snow is still falling like crazy, so we didn't stay out long.  The snow is very powdery, so making a snowman did not work for us.  We did throw a few snowballs and did a little sledding.  And bonus, Daddy got to stay home too!  The bank is officially closed today due to the hazardous road conditions.  We are so excited to be home another day!!!

At every APSU game, Kaden wants to, "see the Gov and take my picture with the Gov."  This was last night's game.  He loves the Governor for sure!!!

Day 2 at home and we are loving life!  We played out in the snow (Kaden didn't last long, Kathryn would have stayed out there for hours).  Then we came in and watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  With snow on the ground, Kaden is convinced that Santa is coming.  Speaking of Santa, I should have blogged this previously...One night with our sitter Ms. Kelly, she asked Kaden (after he said his nightly prayers) if he knew who Jesus was...Kaden quickly replied, "Yes, Jesus is Santa Claus."  Too sweet and funny!!!

1st SNOW DAY of 2016

Yesterday was our first official snow day of the year.  And, since Kaden has been under the weather (upper respiratory infection), and now I am not feeling great (sinus/allergy), the snow day came at a perfect time.  Yesterday we spent some time outside playing in the snow, and the rest of the day was spent inside playing.  Today, we were back at it again.  With our second day out of school due to the snow, we spent time outside playing and then the rest of the day inside.  I love being home, so these last two days have been wonderful!
