Kathryn's 6 year well check up

Kathryn had her well visit too (I am not sure why I torture myself and take them together...but I do...every single time...and I regret it...each time!).  At 6 years old, Kathryn is 45.25 inches tall (51st percentile) and 44 pounds (46th percentile).  She did have some blood work drawn which was quite traumatic (and dramatic), but we all survived.  Developmentally, she is right where she should be.  There were no concerns for her at this time.  We are thankful God continues to bless our family with good health!

Kaden's 2 Year Well Check Up

Kaden had his 2 year well visit this week, and as I suspected, he is all good!  At 2 years old, he weighs 27 pounds (53rd percentile) and is 34 inches tall (32nd percentile).  While he is a little on the shorter side right now, I don't think this is telling of his future height.  I predict he will be a tall young man of a good stature.  There are no concerns for him developmentally, and we completed the visit with shots.  He did cry but not for long.  I am so blessed to have such a healthy boy!   

Park Days & More

This past weekend was spent park playing and enjoying time with family.  In the upcoming weekends we are jammed packed with plans, so it was really nice to enjoy this one at home with no set plans.

Weekend Wrap Up

This past week/weekend was full of fun.  I started back to school on Monday August 4th.  Kaden got ear tubes on August 5th.  He turned 2 on August 6th.  Kathryn had her first day of first grade on August 6th. And she turned 6 on August 8th.  This week will always be a busy one...school beginning, two birthdays...but I just count my blessings!  Over the weekend, we went to Nash's 2nd bday party (he is Kaden's buddy) and after that went to Ryann Procter's 1st bday (a family friend).  Saturday night, Kyle and I had a much needed adult night out with friends.  We went to the Titans game and then to the Corner Pub.  Sunday, we all went to church, took a family nap, and spent the rest of the day at home.  Even though we have been super busy, we are having lots of fun and loving life!!!
