Kathryn always keeps us laughing...

First, for the longest and still to this day, Kathryn refers to people that go to college as "collegers."  I LOVE IT!  For example, she will say, "When I am a colleger, I will study a lot." 

Second, the other day while with Mimi, Kathryn said she wanted to marry Kaden.  Phyllis explained to her that she couldn't marry Kaden because Kaden was her brother.  After thinking for a second, Kathryn replied, "Well, Mommy married Daddy."  Needless to say, Mimi spent a little time explaining to Kathryn our family trees.

Kaden's 1 Year Well Visit

Kaden had his 1 year well visit this past Friday as well.  And, he is very healthy too!  We are going to go back to Vandy to have them reassess his hypospadias repair.  There are some possible concerns that need to be addressed.  Other than that, he is looking great!  Here are his stats...

Weight is 23.75 pounds (84th percentile)
Height is 31 inches (89th percentile)
Head Circumference is 47 centimeters
BMI is 17.37

Kathryn's 5 Year Well Visit

Kathryn had her 5 year well visit last Friday.  She is healthy as can be and as of now, there are no concerns.  Her vision is 20/30 and here are a few more stats...

Weight is 38 pounds (39th percentile)
Height is 42 inches (42nd percentile)
Heart Rate is 113 per minute
Blood Pressure is 103 over 68
BMI is 15.14 (50th percentile)

Weekend Wrap Up

This past weekend was low key and exactly what this family needed after an extremely busy week.  Friday, both Kathryn and Kaden has well visits.  Saturday, Kathryn and I visited a few gymnastics facilities to determine where she wanted to go.  And Sunday, we went to church and stayed home the rest of the day.  It was really nice just spending time with family.  Here are a few left over pics from last week (I don't think I took a single picture over the weekend...I am pretty sure this is a first for me!)...

It is official, I have a Kindergartner!  Kathryn's first day was this past Wednesday.  She was beyond excited.  Her teacher is Ms. Hayhurst, and I think she will be a perfect match for Kathryn.  I am so excited about this big step in Kathryn's life.  She is so eager to learn and go to school, and that makes this momma totally happy.  Here are some pics from her very first day...
