A Whirlwind Ahead

We have been so busy the last few weekends...and that is nothing compared to what's to come. This weekend is the OVC Tournament (Let's Go Peay!). Next weekend is Candlelight Ball which I still don't have a dress for the night (well, a dress that I am happy with). The following weekend we are heading out for a weekend getaway. The weekend after that is the Fall 2000 Reunion. AND, the weekend following that, I am going to Athens to spend the weekend with my sister and celebrate my nephew's birthday. Then, we are off to Cabo during the middle of April. I suspect March and April will seem like a blur, but that is okay with me. Because once May is here, we are coasting out the school year and gearing up for SUMMER!

Let's Go Peay!

It is no secret that our family loves APSU and especially APSU basketball. The love for our alma mater has, with out doubt, been instilled in Kathryn. My mom in law was getting Kathryn dressed yesterday, and a red shirt (not an AP shirt, this shirt had a cupcake on it) was laid out for her to wear. Kathryn asked, "I go to the Austin Peay game?" She thought since she was wearing red that must have been the plan. And, anytime Kyle or I mention anything about Austin Peay, she will chant, "Let's go Peay!" She is a product of her environment!

Things I Love

Since Valentine's Day is tomorrow, I thought I would blog about some things I love (these are things outside of the obvious...Kyle, Kathryn, Bailey, family, friends, etc)

1. When Kathryn is not feeling well, she wants her Mommy...this makes my heart smile
2. Good, honest people...you know, people with morals and good intentions. I have discovered the longer I live, the less people I know like this, and that is disturbing.
3. Being home
4. Having a real conversation with a true friend
5. Snuggling! And, on that note, I am calling it a night, going to watch the rest of the Grammy's in bed with my Valentine.
