Just a perfect day!!!

Today was President's Day, so Kyle and I were both off.  And, it turned out to be the perfect day to be home.  We woke up this morning with the grounds covered in ice and snow falling.  We quickly decided staying home for the entire day was our only plan.  We started out with pigs in a blanket for breakfast.  After breakfast, we all went outside to play in the snow.  Kathryn and Kaden both had a blast sledding, however, Kaden played out a little quicker than Kathryn.  So Kyle stayed out with Kathryn while Kaden and I headed in.  We had a yummy lunch of potato soup and grilled cheeses.  Following was a movie on the couch with Kathryn while Kaden napped.  Once he was up, we all went outside again...more sledding and making snow angels.  Once inside, we did early baths to warm up.  For dinner, we had our favorite Sweet and Spicy chicken, corn on the cob, salad, and sugar snap peas.  Afterwards, we watched some more TV and called it a night.  Days like today are truly perfect.  I was not stressed, we had plenty of time for playing, cooking, cleaning, and even laundry.  The kids were so good, and it was just a wonderful day!
