Breakfast with my #1 Boy!

 

This past week has been a crazy one...Papa had a stroke, had surgery, and is still in the hospital.  Kyle has been in Nashville everyday with Papa from sun up to sun down.  Silver lining...I am taking Kaden to school each morning, which I truly love.  We have even stopped for breakfast most mornings.  Kaden, you are a bright light in my world...you make me smile when I am sad, and you just make this world a better place by being you.  I love you more than I can express, and I am SO PROUD of the person you are!!!!

I don't know that I can say it enough...Kathryn I am SO PROUD of you and it is such an HONOR to be your mom.  You are the total package...and I literally couldn't ask for a better daughter!

A fun Saturday indeed!  Kathryn and I spent the day in Nashville doing all the random shopping.  We had a great day.  We ended the night at Endsworth watching our sweet friends Reese, Lucy, and Harper in their school performance of Annie...and let me just say...it was the absolute cutest performance, they girls did amazing at their roles!  It was a great Saturday!!!!!

Every year, we do Christmas Village together, and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!!  Haven hooked us up with hats and shopping bags this year.  We bought the shirts last year at Christmas Village with plans to wear them this year.  We had lunch at Buttermilk Ranch...it was delish!  We shopped around 12th South and got a drink from La La Land.  Then went to the Village.  We shopped, ate, and shopped some more.  Most of all, we had a blast being together!  Love doing life with these girls!!!!

Track or Treat for Student Govt at RHS

Halloween week/weekend was a fun and busy one!  Kathryn had Track or Treat at her school, she had a Thurs night football game...the Pink Out, and Friday night was Halloween.  Kaden and I were invited to his friend's house for trick or treating, dinner, and a bonfire.  Kyle was under the weather and stayed home.  Kaden had a blast with his buddies and racked up on lots of candy.  I had fun meeting new people/former students and catching up with other parents.  Kathryn went to a party with her friends and had a blast too.  Kathryn and her friends all dressed like Disney Princesses.  The rest of the weekend, I spent time cleaning out and purging...my happy place!  Kyle was pretty sick all weekend, and the kids kept busy doing their own things.  It was really great being home/in town for the weekend!!!!!
