Kaden's Hoop Season

 

Hildale Hoops is in full swing, and Kaden is having his best season of basketball yet!  He is scoring a lot, playing well defensively, and he is showing growth in all areas of this sport.  PROUD of my guy!!!  Kaden, I am your number 1 fan!  Always and forever!!!!  I love you BIG!!!!!

This past weekend Kaden went to DNOW.  He had a blast!!!!!  I am so thankful for our church and leaders that pour in to our youth...especially that pour in to Kaden.  He was exhausted after two solid nights of fun!!!!!

We ended our weekend get away with a bang!  APSU baseball, all the food...with dinner at Golden Steer, and The Barbershop.  We had a blast, but we are exhausted and ready for home and some normalcy!

After finding out Kathryn's acceptance in to FSU, Kyle and I hit the road to Nashville to fly out to Vegas.  We met up with several friends for the weekend.  We flew in Thursday night, and I went straight to bed...it was late!  Friday, we had a big day of eating, playing, and a speakeasy.  

Kathryn Did It!!!! ACCEPTED to FSU!!!!!

 

We have been stressed waiting for this day to come!  On Thursday, Feb 12th at 3 PM, her decision was posted in her FSU portal.  Kyle, Kaden, and I went to RHS (she was in the middle of tennis practice), she came to my car at 3 to access her portal and check the decision.  The decision was there, and her status was marked ACCEPTED!!!!  We screamed, we cried, and we celebrated for two minutes before she had to get back on the tennis courts....LOL!  Seriously, my girl has worked so hard for this!  She has put in the work for the last four years, and it has paid off.  She is officially accepted in to her number 1 school, and she plans to be a Seminole in the Fall!!!!!  Proud is always an understatement.  Kathryn you are loved beyond measure, and I can't believe I get to be your mom and witness all of your dreams come true.  The world is yours!!!!

Kathryn has the biggest heart!  She is always thinking about others and goes above and beyond when gifting.  This year for Valentine's Day, she made cookies to gift friends and teachers, and she made hand made tags for the bags.  She always goes the extra mile to make others feel special, and she is truly a gift to those that know her!!!
