The last 2 months...it has been insane. On Nov 16th, Kyle's dad has a massive stroke. He has been in Nashville since that day. Kyle has driven to Nashville almost every single day. I have gone quite a bit to visit Papa, but I have made keeping things running at home a priority. With Kyle gone most days, it has certainly put a little more on my plate. Between work, going to Nashville, preparing Dave's home for an estate sale, visiting nursing homes, and managing the day to day things of our home and schedules...it has been a lot (oh, and not to mention the hustle and bustle of the holiday seasons...Thanksgiving and Christmas..in the midst of it all). On this particular day, I took off for an appointment with Kathryn. I took the whole day off because I was not sure how long her appointment would last. I ended up having time to go to the movies (yes, by myself, and I absolutely love it) to see The Housemaid. I read the book a couple of years ago, and I love the book. The movie was equally as great. It was nice to have a moment to myself. This was needed!
