Christmas Eve was extra special this year.  After spending lunch at the Luthers, we went to service at Real Life where Kathryn played Away in a Manger on her harp in front of 500 plus people.  She did awesome!  The candlelight service was just perfect and so special!  We spent the day doing our usual...cookies for Santa, spent time at Mimi and Papa's for lunch and then opened gifts, after service we came home and had all the appetizers for dinner, and finished up the night writing to Santa, sprinkling reindeer food, and reading Twas the Night Before Christmas.  I love these simple traditions, and I hope one day the kids will incorporate these traditions with their families.
