This past weekend was tons of fun, here are a few conclusions drawn from the weekend...
First, I am NOT a Music Festival kind of girl. We did have a blast at the festival because we were in a VIP area with all you can eat and drink and separate (well maintained) bathrooms. The music was great, and Beyonce was amazing. However, if we had not been in a separate area, I would not have enjoyed it...too many people that were beyond impaired (I assume alcohol) and just plain dirtiness.
Second, I was not a fan of the city of Philadelphia. I am so glad that we went since I have never been, but I can honestly say that I have no desire to return to this city. The city was not well maintained and was very run down. And, it was sad because there were so many beautiful buildings, but again, I couldn't handle the dirtiness.
Third, I still love a double decker tour bus. We did one in NYC, and when I saw they had them in Philly, I was super excited. The tour bus is the perfect way to see the city and hear a little bit of history. I definitely LOVED our bus tour, and I was impressed with all the history in Philly.

Fourth, hands down, the best part of the trip was hanging with our good friends Kailey and JR. Life has been so busy with school starting up, and we haven't seen them as much lately. I LOVED spending the weekend with two of our best friends.
And, a big THANK YOU to Mimi and Papa for taking care of Kathryn and Kaden while we were away. It is so nice being able to leave town and not worry about the kids. I know they are always in the best care possible and that makes for an even more fun weekend.
