Weekend Wrap Up: Basketball, Football, and a Youth Group Retreat

So weekends are busy than others, and this was a busy one!  Kathryn left Friday evening with our Youth group to attend a retreat at Kentucky Lake.  She had the best time.  She said it was fun, emotional, and magical.  I love seeing her faith grow, and weekends like this magnify her love for Jesus even more.  

Kaden was busy too!  He had Basketball on Saturday (they had their first loss of the season).  Then I took Kaden and his friend Aaron to the APSU football game.  They had a blast cheering on the Govs, eating all the snacks, and just being together.  Sunday morning, I finished up my Thanksgiving grocery shopping, got some things done around the house, and then we went to Mimi and Papa's to put up their Christmas tree.

I am already getting so excited for the holidays.  Christmas is truly the most wonderful and magical time of the year!!!!

 Busy as usual and wouldn't want it any other way.  It is almost time for Thanksgiving which means Christmas is SO close!  I cannot wait for the all holiday festivities!!!!!

Santa TIME!!!!! And a Real Life church Fall Event!

Our yearly tradition...seeing Santa at Mandy Johnson Photography studio in Franklin.  I love the sweetness of this time.  I love seeing their faces light up, and I love how nervous Kaden gets too.  It truly is a special time, and a memory I never want to forget.  Official Santa pics to come!  These are the fun events before going inside to see Santa.  And the pics at the top, they are from the Real Life Fall Event this past Sunday evening.  I am so thankful for our church.  Real Life has been beyond a blessing for our family!
