Weekend Perfection! Friday night was a perfect night to be home and lazy. After a full week back to work (it has been 5 months since reporting to work due to Covid 19), it was much needed to have a little bit of down time. Saturday morning, we were up early and headed to the Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail to ride our bikes. We logged a total of 8 miles. Once home, Kathryn and I had some girl time. We went to lunch at The Mad Herbalist, and then went shopping for clothes. Once home, we all went to the pool for late night swim. We had dinner that and swam until 9. The kids had an absolute blast. There were so many kids there. And, Kyle and I had fun hanging out with all the parents there too. Sunday we decided to sleep in...We felt like the kids needed it. Once up and about, Kathryn and I played around with palette painting, and then we all made Rice Crispy treats. Kathryn went to a Real Life Students pool party with her friend Avery Elliott and had a blast! It was a great weekend indeed, and now we are all ready to tackle another week.

Rainbow on my way to work |
Found this sweet note in my car one morning this week. Kathryn even attached a flashlight in case it was too dark in my car for me to read it. She is truly the best!!!!! |
