We ended the summer with lots of fun! We found a great, little lunch dive in Trenton, KY. They had amazing chips and cheese as well as a delish skillet cookie with ice cream. Garrett came to stay a couple of night with us. We went kayaking (this was a first for me and the kids), and we all had a blast! We went with the Jenkins/Creech crew and the Bowles. Our trek was 8.5 miles, and we completed it in about 3.5 hours. It was a peaceful and fun day! Another day we went to City Forum with Garrett, Maxx, Aubree, and Aunt Aimee. We all had so much fun! The kids played laser tag, rode go karts, and played arcade games. And other times we spent relaxing at home, watching TV, and just being lazy! The kids have found a love of taking selfies, lol! And, I always love seeing their surprise pics in my camera roll. Due to COVID, we have had an extended, wonderfully long break. But, all good things must come to and end...back to work I go!
