Dominican Republic: Iberostar Grand Bavaro

Kyle and I just got back from an amazing trip in the Dominican.  For the first time ever, I was not remotely stressed about a vacation.  It was just me and Kyle and whatever we felt like doing.  This was our first trip to this country, and it was absolutely beautiful.  I thought it was much prettier than anywhere we have been in the past.  The beach was great, the sky so blue, the landscape so green...it was just breathtaking.  Our resort was so nice too!  I think it may have been our favorite resort yet.  The food was delicious, the drinks plentiful, and the service was outstanding.  We were beyond pleased by every aspect.  I loved how the resort was not overcrowded.  We did not have to get up at 6 AM to play the chair game.  We had no problems getting dining reservations.  And, it was great not feeling overwhelmed by large crowds.  This is a place we would definitely go back to visit.  AND, Amanda and Eric Huneycutt decided to join us way last minute...literally, they booked the Friday before we left.  They came down Tuesday.  It was the perfect mix of alone time with Kyle and time with friends.  And, a BIG THANK YOU to Mimi and Papa for taking care of the kiddos while we were gone.  It is so nice to know they are in great care and therefore we did not have to worry about them.  Here are a few pics from the trip...
